b'reishit
in the beginning

B'REISHIT (Genesis 1:1 - 6:8)

Layers must be peeled
to uncover a naked path.

Tearing at the corners of garment
consumes generations, yet the veins
of life shift with every breath.

Each time another garden opens up
dreaming of a slow approach.

Frustration fastens the gates,
a veil camouflages its spot, and
all trails are set ablaze with thirst.

And it is good.
